St. Patrick's Day 2010

The rainbow is from Madame Wing, and the alphabet is from a blog train I found viz the Madame Wing blog. It's from a group of designers called the Sunshine Girls (I think). The brads are from Redju Designs from the SYTYCD contest. Everything is else is from Jady Day Studio. I made the shamrocks from a paper from the Sweet Yleana kit (that's where all the Jady Day stuff came from).

Zoo Fun with Family

Pretty much the exact same thing as my last page, but with a different kit (Sweet Yleana by Jady Day Studio, which is retired and no longer available), and no rounded corners. Plus, this time there were three pictures that just could not be cropped into squares, so I was able to crop them so they were about twice the size as the squares. It took some precise measuring and very zoomed in resizing, but I think they look pretty great! And this pretty much finishes up the zoo pictures. There is one picture that I just wasn't able to fit in, but it was just a picture of a funny sign at the zoo. It said "Attention Hunters: Moose in Area! Be sure of your target" I thought it to be a funny sign to have at a zoo. In the zoo's defense, it was in an area that they had made to look like the woods and great outdoors. That's where the four-wheelers were located. And there were some information displays about conservation and safety.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

A side by side comparison of Abigail and I. One new thing I did with this one was to make the wire holding the pictures up. I used the brush tool and grey color, then did a simple inner bevel effect on it to make it look like real wire, instead of just grey paint. I think it turned out well. It was a lot of work to find something that I liked though. A lot of undo-ing.

Abigail in the Duck Blanket

Here's the same layout, but with Abigail instead. I figured it would be fun to see how similar they look.

Bryant in the Duck Blanket

We took a picture just like this of Abigail. It is one of my favorites. So I figured I'd better do the same with Bryant.

One Month

The one thing I did with this one was use the brush tool to do all the white around the picture. Our red plaid couch just didn't look good. Next time I do picture I might have to do a backdrop. Though the reasoning behind taking pictures on the couch was to use the plaid as a gauge for growth.

Youth Jam 2008

Everything is from Jady Day, except the metal frame. That's from Shazbutt Moisson. I found it at Digiscrap Boutique. It was a freebie. I love freebies.
