Artists

The pictures are probably familiar from the Mother's Day layouts, but I wanted to do another post that focused more on their creativity. So here it is. I figured out a way to do a two-page spread. Just make a new project with a canvas size of 24 inches wide and 12 inches tall, at a resolution of 300 ppi. Pretty simple. Then put the paper (or papers) that you want to use on that blank canvas, side by side. Duh. Why I didn't think of it sooner, I don't know, but I'm glad I did. By the way, a lot of these papers and elements I'm using are coming from a design competition on digiscrapaddicts.com. All you have to do is register for their forum (it's free) and then download all the kits that you want from the competition (which are also free). Oh, and If you get any from Jady Day Studio (Yajaira/Yari Mower) send her lots of love. She is awesome, and I hope she makes it far in the competition. Oh, and if you need to find it, look for "So You Think You Can Design" or "SYTYCD". Happy scrapping!

I can't help but to laugh every time I see Abigail in this picture. She is so cute. Thanks again for sharing.

I worry about the 300 ppi for you. Isn't that pretty low resolution for printing?

Heather, I don't know if that's a low resolution or not. All I know is that all the designers design in 300 ppi. So it must be standard for a reason.
