I was just trying to get her to smile, and this is what I get instead. She is so silly. By the way, I made the "sad" flair myself, trying to copy the other ones. It isn't quite right, but it was close enough. And it was fun to do.

Artists
The pictures are probably familiar from the Mother's Day layouts, but I wanted to do another post that focused more on their creativity. So here it is. I figured out a way to do a two-page spread. Just make a new project with a canvas size of 24 inches wide and 12 inches tall, at a resolution of 300 ppi. Pretty simple. Then put the paper (or papers) that you want to use on that blank canvas, side by side. Duh. Why I didn't think of it sooner, I don't know, but I'm glad I did. By the way, a lot of these papers and elements I'm using are coming from a design competition on digiscrapaddicts.com. All you have to do is register for their forum (it's free) and then download all the kits that you want from the competition (which are also free). Oh, and If you get any from Jady Day Studio (Yajaira/Yari Mower) send her lots of love. She is awesome, and I hope she makes it far in the competition. Oh, and if you need to find it, look for "So You Think You Can Design" or "SYTYCD". Happy scrapping!

Mother's Day Layouts
These are my most recent digi-scrapping projects. Most of my files are stored on a seperate hard drive, which isn't currently connected to our network, so I haven't had access to them for quite a while. However, Yajaira, in all her genorosity has had some recent mini-kit freebies and such on her studio blog (Jady Day Studio), so I was able to get some more files to play with on my laptop. I was going to enter these all in a competition she was holding, but I missed the deadline. Oh well. So here are my two newest layouts and a card. It's all from Yajaira's newest kit, for Mother's Day.
